Colin's Roman Roads Ride is due to recieve it's first outing tomorrow (9th March) and is currently an out-and-back route to St. Albans (though the return journey may be altered in future to create a loop).
Leaving Great Missenden up Frith Hill the ride heads for Latimer via Hyde Heath and Chesham Bois. You then climb up to Flaunden and down to the southern edge of Hemel Hempstead before heading on to Bedmond and crossing the M1 above the M25 interchange. Then it's straight back up in to St. Albans to the cafe in Verulamium Park (23 miles) before retracing your route to Great Missenden (46 miles).
