This is the short and reasonably flat ride from Great Missenden to Windsor and back.
The route runs as a figure of eight starting out from Missenden on the A413 towards Amersham and then continuing to Chalfont St Giles where you turn towards Beaconsfield. After Beaconsfield the route stays on the lanes through Hedsor before dropping down to the river at Cookham. You then head through Maidenhead and Bray before picking up the main road into Windsor and reaching the cafe stop at Eton Bridge (28 miles). Leaving the cafe you head out through Eton and Eton Wick and return to Beaconsfield via Burnham. After crossing the outward route you visit Winchmore Hill, Penn Street, Holmer Green and Little Kingshill on the way back to Great Missenden (51 miles).
